hey guys this is my first post umm, i dont know if this question is dumb or not but i'll give it a shot:

can you get a persons IP address or figure out somehow where it came from from the source of a yahoo email? like if i compared two emails could i tell if it came from the same computer? thanks

Assuming that the author of the E-mails has not deliberately disguised the address, you should be able to use the E-mail full header to give you that information.

While I am not an expert, E-mail full headers are read from bottom (sender) to top (receiver) with all the stages in between.
