Have you been infected with malware and now want to strike back? Or do you just like to help others?

If so, BleepingComputer is offering you the chance to do just that by learning how to fight malware. The need for helpers to offer their expertise on the internet is greater than ever. The advancement and spread of malware means more people are being infected daily with newer and more difficult malware variants. If you would like to take part in this interesting and exciting program use the link at the bottom of this post.

Our Training Program
Sophomore level
Upon acceptance to the training program here at Bleeping Computer, you will start in the Sophomore group where we will introduce basic tools used in malware removal and provide you with basic knowledge needed to identify and remove malware.

Junior level
In this section you will learn how to identify and manually remove different types of malware. This stage employs practice logs as a training tool under the supervision and guidance of our Malware Response Instructors. Discussions about current developments and changes in the methods of dealing with malware start here.

Senior level
Upon your completion of the required logs, you will work here with actual users under the supervision of an Instructor. Once you have demonstrated the capability to effectively resolve problems you will become a staff member, with full rights as a Malware Response Team Member.

Don't be put off by the challenging effort; even though the training is intensive and may require some time we will go at your pace and even absolute beginners can give it a go. You are under no obligation to complete the training. If you cannot continue for any reason you can drop out at any time. .

Please Note:
Due to the large numbers of requests for training, we utilize an automated program that will open a training slot to applicants when one becomes available. If the classes are full, please check back often to see if there is an opening. Additionally we request that you have a minimum of 20 posts on the Bleeping Computer forum. This will be used in conjunction with the application process to help us get an understanding of your posting style an ability to interact on a forum style help site.

Do not contact staff members via PM to request admission. This will result in a negative response, and may hinder your acceptance to the program. If you feel that special circumstances require our attention, contact this Study Hall Admin only.

:exclame: Click Here to apply for admission to the BC Study Hall. You should receive a reply once your application is reviewed.
