Yes, Izzy -
Right click anywhere on the blank desktop and look closely at the menu. One of the choices lets you change the size of the shortcut images. Sorry, I'm not at my Vista system right now, so I can't recall the exact wording, but I'm sure you'll see it. -------------------- |

ok i had a fiddle and right click desktop, then select "View" and then just clikc on "Classic Icons" and they go to XP size, and now they look better.....thanks for that....

Ctrl + Mouse-wheel lets you easily scroll through all icon sizes.

Right on Alpha. I have found, after many months of using Vista, there is often an easy way and a hard way to do most things. Most of it can be found in "Help and Support", which most users seem to be reluctant to read. If you type "Desktop Icons" in the search panel of "Help and Support" it comes up with exactly what is written above!

Vista is a clicking nitmaire until you learn where everything is and learn the shortcuts etc.....i'm getting better at it now and still dont experience with it either......
