Got a new laptop with Windows Vista. Installed latest Windows Defender. WD Software Explorer shows that WD is blocking several startup programs. These are legitimate programs I would like to run at startup, such as utilities provided by the laptop manufacturer, and a utility for the graphics card.
Unfortunately I cannot enable them to run at startup. Their status is "not yet classified" and the remove-disable-enable buttons at the bottom of Software Explorer are grayed out.
What to do?
Thanks for any help.
