Sound Cuts Out

Hey, whenever I am playing San Andreas, my sound begins to get all messed up and delayed, then it just cuts out and the only sound you can hear is the car radio and cutscenes. What the heck is going on??

You may have a sound card driver issue. Update your sound card drivers and then play GTA SA and see how the sound is.

This is a common problem within San Andreas that Rockstar never bothered to fix in their patch. Your best bet is to Click start >> Run >> type 'dxdiag' and when it loads, go to the sound tab, and decrease your hardware acceleration to Basic. This may work.
