Since a six pack and electricity never go well together I will recomend takeing it to a shop. Your fan on the power supply should be running all the time. You are haveing a overheat problem and the unit is shutting down trying to protect itself.
Now you may have had a bad wall plug to begin with but I suspect your power supply has been damaged. If it continues to run ok for several hours without problems plugged into the new outlet then you may be ok. But next time your going in to town take your comp in to be checked is my advice. |
