Easy-Web Print is excellent and efficient. Having done numerous searches, the basic lowdown is that it is not available in Firefox.

Is this true, and if so, is there something similar for Firefox

Something I found that might help:

I called tech support. The easy web print will not install on Mozilla.

Had a similar query and found the following solution on a newsgroup.
You can find the "plug in" at:-
https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/?application=firefox
and is called "IEVIEW". When installed, you can left click on a vacant part of the web page and a menu item will come up with "view this page in IE" and from there you can still use the canon web print.

One other thing that might be of interest:

If you installed "Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP (KB912812)", which was included in Windows Update for Windows XP SP2, a script error may occur when you print or preview pages using Canon Easy-WebPrint.

Thanks Guys

I also found the above but didn't quite grasp the meaning "open in IE Tab" which I have been using for ages!!
