Capturing a Photo From a Video is it possible ???

If it is ...then please tell me any software which i can use to cut the photos from a video film....i tried Print Screen and the paste but it just turns black ...What do i do !!!

There may be several ways to do it. Allow me to narrow it down with the answers to a few of these:

What version of Windows are you running? If it is XP, have you upgraded to SP2?

Do you have a dedicated video card or is it integrated (some computers may refer it as embedded, but the meaning is the same)?

The video that you would like to capture, is it from a DVD or is it a file that is in movie format?

What is the application that you use to play the video? Real Player, Quicktime, and there are others.

When you watch the video, is it full screen? If it is, do you have an option to run it in a smaller window? If it is not full screen, do you have that as an option?
