Hi...new here. I have installed Vista Ultimate (upgrade)from XP on my Vaio BX 540B laptop. I have been trying to connect my Samsung DLP to use as a monitor. It's not working not even recognizing the laptop.Sony will not help me because they do not support Vista Ultimate. I heard I need to install certain drivers. Can anyone help me? Thanks

It looks like that model uses an ATI Mobility X700 graphics chipset, do you have the proper driver loaded for that? Sony's site doesn't host much in terms of Vista drivers for that model, but you may be able to use the driver from ATI/AMD's site: http://ati.amd.com
