I am running Windows XP Home and trying to update Norton Systemworks. Had no trouble past 2 years in updating this. I load the CD and enter the product code as requested and then get this msg - "An active RAID controller has been detected. Norton GO Back cannot be installed on your computer". When I checked out Symantec Support it says that the "installation of GoBack onto a RAID Array is not supported and sytem startup problems have been reported after the installation of GoBack onto a RAID array".

Could someone please explain what the Raid controller is and does and if I can safely remove it to load this software. Where does it live and how do I do it if I can? I don't even know how I got it in the first place. Any help would be gratefully acccepted. I hate asking help from Symantec Support as I don't usually understand their answers and their solutions.
