Not Full Screen

I often play this computer game called warrock. I was wondering if there was any way of playing computer games without them taking up the full screen. Ex still show start menu and that stuff. Thank you Dan.

You can always just do an "Alt-Tab" to get to the splash screen.

I tried that but it just stayed for a second the went back to full screen. Am i doing something wrong.

ALT+Enter works for me in Americas Army.

There is usually a command you can add to the target line in the shortcut, like -window or similar.
