we need to know how to get a NETGEAR DG632 ADSL modem and a DLINK DI524 wireless router to work together

we have tried setting the modem to modem mode and then trying to connect from the DI524 using its PPPoE mode but it doesnt connect

does anyone know how to make these 2 work together so other computers can get on the internet over the wireless connection?
