I'm looking for software (preferably free ) to recover a video,if possible, on a nokia 6230 which i sent in to be repaired and which was subsquently wiped, the video in question was on the phone memory and not the memory card.The phone is connected to my PC via bluetooth

If you sent the nokia model to be repaired, odds are that you have lost it all, normally you can use tools to recover info of the card and phone tools for example pc file recovery and recovermy files. but as I found last year, if nokia recieve a damaged phone, they hook it up to a diagnostic machine, if it fails the test they remove the insides and replace them with new ones.

To see if this is the case, type *#0000# a set of numbers appear, look for the set in date format, is it similar to the date you purchased the phone give or take a couple of months?

The phone was purchased Dec 04, the date showing on the handset is 03-02-05, it went in for repair around June 05 (I think )
