Over the past many months, I have had the enjoyable, and sometimes frustrating, experience, of being a Vista Beta tester. I compiled a doc, from one of the earlier Betas, with some hints on helping to use and run the new program. As MS moved the goal posts, I had to keep altering this doc. I have now, finally, got it together again for the retail release. I hope, as time goes by, to continue to add to it, but the pages on the web, doing similar work, are rapidly increasing and it probably would not be needed. If you would like to run through these procedures feel free to doenload from here:

Some of the hints are known to NOT be available to Basic users - I'm working on that. Apologies to Grinler and gang if some of these are already in his magnificent collection. A few of the hints I worked out for myself, many are dragged from lots of different sources on the web, over the past year.

There is a small typo in the doc. Tip 25 should read"MdSched.exe"
