Vista Ultimate To Business?

I have recently install vista ultimate, which I found out that my key only suits a business version, which do I have to do a clean install of the business for upgrading my laptop?

also is it possible to install xp again after installing vista?

Is thisan upgrade version? Or full? So you are basically running Vista Ultimate right now, unactivated?
