Hi I am trying to compress some movies I recorded with Windows Media Center so I can burn them to a DVD. I have tried several programs (such as dvdshrink 3.2) but they don't seem to recognise the file I am trying to compress. Is there a good program to use or is it something to do with the file type that media center uses?
thx

Here and here some reading material about that format. There are various various ways which lead to Rome with all different routes
as far as compressing is concerned. I would first try the suggests from Wikipedia, if that fails we seach on.
