Eventually, one end or the other of the 'trajectory' would end up putting the victim on the ground. It may be a soft landing or it may be a bit harder (broken bones harder). I have never tried either,but to jump off a bridge hundreds of feet in the air,would scare me to death.

Well I would not try vertical but would do that in baby steps. Like only pull the cord 1/4 or so each time.

Wow! that is awesome but I would be so scared to try it at first. Why didn't they show the full clip of her landing then I would have a some reference if I try it.
