OK guys, here's a poser: Having had my company laptop access inapropriate sites via a non-company server, is deletion of the cache, (temp internet sites, history, cookies) sufficient to prevent IT department detection either routinely, or any other way? The Company server would normally just not allow accessing of a whole host of categories, however browsing via a hotel server appears to bypass the controls and allow unlimited access to whatever is sought. I am probably being totally paranoid here, however would appreciate any factual (and non-judgemental) advice.

Cheers,

Sean

In a word, no.

This is a gray area that is between you and your company so I don't think it is appropriate to assist you further. Topic closed.
And I may be obliged to defend
Every love every ending
Or maybe there's no obligations now,
Maybe I've a reason to believe
We all will be received
