Just a random mention, is there some reason that site is laid out exactly like tigerdirect?

edit: nvm it's because its from systemax as well

I think the b at the end just signifies that it is a black case. Didn't have time to check in depth though:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811129154 P180
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811129017 P180b

Funny that the b is cheaper as well huh.gif

Huh! So can anyone explain the price difference? That's very odd. Regarding the similarities between website, I believe misco may be the UK branch of US newegg.......got redirected once or something from a search engine that gave me the clue - not 100% though.

Which do you think is better Ocelot - 180 vs 900 Antec showdown?

Feel free if anyone else wants to jump in with their opinion...

LOL! The $15 price difference is that there's a $15 rebate on the one that's cheaper! hysterical.gif Sorry....I'm laughing with you, certainly not at you, because that took me a few minutes to figure out!

Personally, I'd go with the silver one, as it would stand out a little more and is more uncommon than a black case! thumbup2.gif

Lol thanks for clearing that up. I know it sounds like such a stupid point but I've never understood this whole rebate business in America, you don't get it much in the UK or I've just not come across it here. Anyway that problems solved...

Again any winners in the Antec 180 vs 900? And any favourites from Lian-Li?

Antec P180 if noise is an issue, otherwise Antec Nine Hundred. The Nine Hundred is also easier to work with.

Noise is not a sepcial issue but I would prefer a 'relatively' quiet case. How loud would you say the 900 is? Actually it may be easier to suggest comparatively how much quieter the 180 is.

You also mention the 900 is easier to work with - in which aspect? It seems apparent that the 900 is a significantly bigger case but anything else you can elaborate on Mr Alpha or other users?

The P180 is noticeably quieter than the Nine Hundred. I'm sorry but I can't say more than that since I don't have a Nine hundred here to compare with.

I was thinking of the installation aspect. The Nine hundred is bigger and thus more roomy, but the P180 also has an inner wall which helps with cooling but takes a lot of space and make cable routing a pain in the a... Also, on the Nine Hundred you can practically rip of the whole front, giving you even more space to work with. The one down side with it is that screwing the hard drives into place is a bit of a hassle. They've managed to hide the holes pretty well. I would guess that the Nine Hundred is simpler and more strait-forward to modify as well.
