Try this freeware; PDFill PDF Writer.
Or,
PDF Creator.

Yes.

Also, have you tried it? It won't hurt your computer or programs.

Yeah, I just tried it with Adobe Reader.
Saved as txt file, which I can edit in MS Word.

None of the above free programs seems to Convert .pdf files to Word (.doc) files, unless I am missing something

There are plenty of PDF creation tools out there that are free but it's tricky to get hold of a FREE converter!

Hopefully this is what your after. The only downfall is that it converts to txt rather than doc, but at least you can edit the text!

One word of warning tho, if your pdf is longer than 1 page the program outputs page for page, so don't convert a 200 page document to the desktop!! :thumbsup:
If all else fails, hit the reset button.
