I can't seem to be able to configure AVG free email scanner with thunderbird.
Can someone please help me out with some instructions?

Thanks but I cant use that because its Sympatico.
Has anyone here actually done it before, if so can they please provide some instructions that they followed.

Sorry if I gave you the incorrect link wwejosh,I think the sandman was calling.
Are you having problems with AVG Free E-Mail scanning and Thunderbird?
When I installed AVG,I didn't have to configure Tbird with the e-mail scanner to get it to work,it just automatically worked.
When you have the AVG Free screen open,click on Control Center.
Security Status should be displayed at the top of the window,and highlight 'e-mail scanner is fully functional'.
Then click Properties at the very bottom.
The Installed Plugin Component should be Personal E-Mail Scanner,from the drop down menu.
I believe these are all all set by default.
