I'm really sorry now I'm posting it here Sorry if this is the wrong way to go about such type of mistake Windows XP(NT)SP2 Resident AV- AVPE Classic I needed a backup AV tool or utillity and I came accross ArcaMicroScan free- Arcabit-Poland http://www.arcabit.com/products_arcamicroscan.html I have downloaded it and installed it-Seemed like a simple tool without real installation Installation is online - you run the exe Updater and everything comes by download It seems like a standalone utillity(like Stinger). There is nothing in ADD/REMOVE or in Startup It does have a shotrcut However it doesen't have a Help file and no information on it, in English anyway If anybody have any information about this tool, please post I don't know how to set Updates and I don't know if there is any function that can conflict wit my Resident AV I ask about the function because there are two exe files that are asking for permission to access the Internet: ArcaMicroScan.exe -Protection Module amsupd.exe ArcaMicroScan- this would be the Updater I think Finally which one of those are supposed to have access to the Internet Zone in Zone Alarm all the time, if any Thanks This post has been edited by zorandjr: Jan 18 2007, 10:00 PM |
