The single good thing about preinstalled Operating systems are that you don't have to bother with the drivers... so this is nice.
I'm building from now on though, I think, so I shouldn't need it unless I want to completely wipe my family's main computer again. Is it illegal to install a version of windows with a valid CD key on your computer with a downloaded OEM version of windows .iso that you burnt to disc? I mean, like the key was licensed to that computer anyways? I'm just wondering... Edit: I love how IE is on the user submitted crap list... :D A downloaded version is illegal, using someone else's disk if it matches and works would probably be frowned on by microsoft, but I doubt they would prosecute if you have a legal liscense to that version. There's another concern, a downloaded iso/program may have encrypted malware deeply buried in the cab files, not exactly a good way to get a clean install is it? -------------------- Chewy
