Bah....How can anyone think uncooked fish is good is a mystery to me. Like a fisherman catching the fish and biting into right then and there...yuck!
Anyways it looks pretty cool. I like shrimp and so thats all I would eat on the plate. -------------------- "The fool hath said in his heart, 'There is no God'" (Psalm 14:1; 53:1)

G-d told me not to eat shrimp or Microsoft. Only fish with scales may be eaten; only Linux, OSs that have split hooves and chew the cud.

I like shrimp and so thats all I would eat on the plate. sushi isnt really raw fish, its mostly just rice and vegetables wrapped in seaweed. there are lots of sushis that do have raw fish, but mostly the fish is added as a topping. sushi is lovely though, especially with some soy sauce. yummmm. -------------------- you are heart in the waves you are the end of me |

You can make sushi with anything! Fish is just pretty popular, my parents like the sushi with fish eggs and they got my 3-yr old niece eating it too. Yuck!
cowsgonemadd3, you should try making your own at home. All you need is Japanese rice (not the Uncle Ben stuff The Korean sushi is awesome! Better than Japanese imho! -------------------- |

QUOTE I know you are going to get me just like my grandma does when I answer this. No I havent tried it. I was told it was raw fish and that was a stomach churner for me. Hehehe..your right! I felt the same exact way as you until I started eating it. You need to start with easy sushi that contains cooked fish so you get used to it. Something like california rolls or even an eel roll (very sweet). Then try something raw like a tuna roll. You move on from there. Trust me if you live fish, it is delicious. -------------------- Lawrence

Good point...if you are looking for pieces of raw fish then sashimi would really be the proper term. -------------------- Lawrence
