now i get another error b4 i even get into css... i double click on it and while its loading i get this dumb error

i downloaded steam and installed it then i installed css if thats wat u mean

reinstall steam entirely

considering your video card drivers are up to date and all that, Im assuming this is software linked with the engine itself

therefore a fresh install should do the trick, Hopefully :thumbsup:

i installed/uninstalled/reinstalled steam and css more then 20 times now probobly.... im gonna sue valve lol :thumbsup:

Crazy...but read about it when I was researching this issue.....try running your resolution in 1024x768. Give it a whirl, keep your fingers crossed and please let us know how you made out! I'll keep researching just in case :thumbsup:

ok i can play now but i dunno if i will still get the datacache.dll problem but what i can tell u know for sure is that the display LOOKS LIKE bleep!
any other ways maybe?

Ok, so it looks like crap....at least you can play it now! Gotta look at the bright side here!

Also, I found THIS from Steam....might work, I'm not sure really, as I've never played the game! :thumbsup:

i restarted the computer and somehow it works and the display is good thanx for that but the other fuking error keeps poping up:(

Now...which error went away? Was it the shaderapidx9.dll error that went away, or the other one?

ok sorry
yes it was that one so now i can play but while im playing i get that datacache.dll error and sometimes for no reason at all it just shuts down dunno y...:S

Shuts down for no reason at all? Does it give you an error or just revert back to your desktop? About how long can you play before you get that data cache error? I'm just trying to rule out overheating now or a bad graphics card (which I don't think either is a problem).

I'll start looking up that data cache error and see what I can find! :thumbsup:
