BleepingComputer.com: Can't Acess Website

This week I can't connect to the BBC website at all, last week I could. I have XP and internet explorer.
I don't know what to do - any ideas, anyone?

Just for fun, try getting a traceroute on it. Here's what you do:

Go to the Start Button, then click on Run.

In the box, type:

cmd

. . . and hit OK.

A nice black DOS emulator will pop up. Now type:

tracert www.bbc.co.uk

. . . at the prompt, and hit enter. If it's a problem with a server that's down somewhere between you and the site, one of the sites listed in the route will show "request timed out." and you won't be able to get any further. Sometimes, a server that's down will keep you from getting to a site in one place, but since you go through other servers to get somewhere else, it may appear that everything's working fine.

Or, it may be a problem with your computer. But this is a place to start.

Tried that and nothing happened when I clicked enter so I tried it again without the space between tracert and www and this came up "is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
I've already done a virus and spyware scan, spybot - nothing came up.
I've checked with other people no one else is having a problem with the site and I think the only thing different I've done in the past week was install the google video player and a couple files.

I can but it takes 2-3 minutes to load and then there are quite a few little boxes with a red X in them, when I click on those I get the "internet explorer cannot display the webpage" same with when I click the links on the left side of the page.

OK, now that is just too strange. Today I have no problem getting on and the site posted above with the numbers, it loads in a second with pictures and working links.
I don't get it?
If it was a problem with the site why was it just me that it wouldn't load for?
