I am using Norton Antivirus 2005. Lately I have been getting emails advertising for the 2007 version. I regularly update my antivirus software. Would purchasing the 2007 version give me any benefit over simply continuing to update every week?

Thanks,
Don

No, but eventually they'll discontinue support and updates for your version - so you'll be forced to upgrade.

I'd suggest one of the good, free antivirus solutions that are available. I prefer AVG Free (available here: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/28415/lng/us/tpl/v5 )

Thanks John. You just saved me some cash. I'll also check out that free virus software you recommended.

Take care,
Don

I will support John's recommendation. I have AVG 7.5 on 8 of my computers. Have been using it since version 6.x
