Microsoft Outlook Express Error messege when sending out email

Can anyone help with this one?

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'test', Account: 'pop.charter.net', Server: 'smtp.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

My email won't go out due to the fact that this is coming up.
