Acklan - I can remember a news story - a real story where a guy in Nevada(???) strapped a jet assist take off rocket to his car. The car did infact become airborne and slammed into a mountain.

That wild !!! And as a hybrid he gets a tax break plus can use the HOV lanes( at least in NJ)
The cop is funny... It should say "No officer I wasn't speeding" or "OK buddy I clocked you doing 655 in a 55 mph zone." :thumbsup:

I have seen a few jet/turbine powered cars at car shows and while they are cool and extremely loud. however it is possible for a car that is Jet propeled to become air borne but it's very hard to do
