Hi,
I'm wanting to create a Video CD of a file I created using Microsoft movie maker, I've created the MPEG file using TMPGEnc-2 but what software do I need to burn the MPEG file onto a CD to use in my DVD player?
Does anybody know of any freeware programs that are good for achieving this?
Thanks.

I thought that Microsoft Movie Maker allows you to create a Video CD as one of the saving or exporting options. I haven't tried the latest version so I canno't be sure.
If all else fails, hit the reset button.

I have an Sony DVD player and it doesn't recognise the disc created in movie maker, but recognises other VCD's.

Hi Yorkie.
Just a thought, is your Sony player updateable. Go to the Sony web page, enter your model and see if there are any updates available which you can put on a CD and poke into your player. Some models have this ability.
Cheers

Thanks for the suggestion I had a look on the sony site and did a search on google but didn't come across any thing. The model number for my Sont DVD Player is DVP-NS730P, its quite an old one.
