Easy Way To Make Dvd's

Hi can any1 tell me how i can convert my downloaded .avi films to dvd's. i have been using avs video converter to convert and NTI cd & dvd maker 7 to burn the VOB files but a lot of them are out of sinc with the video and audio. Does any1 know of a freeware programme or a decent pay for 1 that i can use to do both jobs or a way of putting the avi files or mpg files on to dvd's

Am a bit of a newbie at burning films and have wasted quite a few discs as a result so would appreciate some help

my specs are Acer laptop with 80gig HD, 1gb memory 128 shared graphics, xp home with various different programmes on

Nero would be the best PAID alternative. You can download a demo from the website but has limited features. Avi2DVD is freeware and appears to be very good Posted Image

Hi thanks for the reply, i have tried nero and it says it has a known conflict with this version of windows, which i dont know why cos i have it on my xp pc upstairs. I have managed to find WinAVI video converter which seems to be really fast and so far the 1 film i have converted and burned with NTI seems to be ok.

Has any1 any coments on WinAVI and if its any good.
