Spent most of the day trying to understand and sort out my sons Ipod mini. trouble is i registered it in my name not realizing it comes up on the ipod and on the ipod itunes thingy. As you can understand my son is none to happy about this seems to be uncool or something to have his mums name on his Ipod. was wondering how I could change it to say his name, been looking round the apple store to see if they have a support site but can not find any information on this problem. Hoping anyone had advice if not will have to give them a ring. many thanks for any help offered |

In order to change the name you have to restore the Ipod to factory defaults. Run the Ipod software updater and click on the restore button. Be warned though that this will completely erase anything already placed on the ipod so you iwill have to upload all your music again
