Ive played a few games by Dreamcatcher and Adventure Company. I like the single player action. I dont like fighting games, especially shooter games. Some of my earlier favorites include 11th Hour and 7th guest, Atlantis, Myst all from the mid-late 90's. More recent games include Dracula Resurrection, Dracula the Last Sanctuary, DarkFall...I like the cheesy games where you cant die. I like puzzles and some descent story line. Dracula was my favorite of all mentioned. It had a great storyline and I love the spook about it, Darkfall also had the puzzle spook thing so thats probably my 2nd fav. I was wondering if anyone has played any games simiular to the ones above. I have read up on some games but when I buy them, I didnt like them, so I was wanting a second opinion.

If you liked Myst, I suggest Riven, it's by the same company. Another great game series in which you can't really die is SimCity. If you don't mind dying from time to time, Baldur's Gate I and II are good old school RPG's, Alpha Centauri is also an older game by the same guy that came up with Civilization, and Syberia I and II are some of the best adventure games released in the past five years. They play Myst.
