Outlook Express Email is timing out!

Last night Outlook Express went nuts and is timing out BIG time. How do I stop this? I am new to this forum and am not sure if this is the place. I hope this is right. Thanks for your help. Rita :-(

This may be a problem with the provider's server. Do you have more than one E-mail provider account in OE; if so, see if the same thing happens when you attempt to connect to that server.
Are you getting any error messages? If so what is their precise wording- - -often times an error code provides a clue to the problem.

We have only one Email address. Outlook Express -- Server error: 0x800CCC90 and 0x800420D are the main errors.

This looks like there is something wrong in the server settings. Please have a close look at those. Also look at the password verification settings.
