Hi all,

I really don't know what to make of this....I'm using Norton Internet Security 2007. I switched on my PC and the Auto-Protect facility is not working at all i've tried most of the suggested ways to fix it but all to no avail when i first switch it on everything seems fine then after a few moments an error message comes up "auto-protect experienced an unexpected error. 0x000003E9" no where can i find info on how to fix this either that or i'm looking in the wrong place.

I've scanned with various free AV's and spyware programs and nothing has been found...i'm getting worried now as I'm not feeling safe to browse without protection.

Can anyone help?

Yes .....I tried that....I decided to remove Norton totally as I'm not impressed by it, i'm now using the free AVG antivrus...I was experiencing too many problems for example my system restore wouldn't work and Auto Protect wouldn't go on to mention a few, besides it wasn't finding anything when I scanned that other free software found. I've given up on it.

I've uninstalled it now and everything is fine..thank you
