Ok, I had IE7 release candidate running on my computer. I forgot to upgrade to the final version when it came out. I uninstalled the RC and put the new version on. It lost all the settings I had set and takes me to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx whenever I run IE so that I can setup the settings. Well I get a scripting error whenever that pages loads, so I can't set the settings. Has anyone else had this problem? This is the error:

Line: 56
Char: 2
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL: http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx

Any suggestions?

Hi dwheimerl.
You've got some missing or invalid reg entries.
With IE closed, run regedit. You are looking for two DWORD values, "RunOnceHasShown" and "RunOnceComplete".
They should exist in the following two reg keys and given a data value of 1:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
If they do not exist, you'll need to create both of them in both locations.
