I'm having a problem with my 80GB laptop in that I installed the Adobe Premier Elements and have been making some movies. Now my hard drive space is down to nil. I think that purchasing an external hard drive and moving all of the movie-making stuff to it will help. However, there are so many choices out there! I am clueless about what is best to purchase. Today I found a Seagate 250 GB ext. HD with CA ISS 2007 for only $44.99 (after rebate)!! Is this too good to be true?? I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 and need to make sure that whatever hard drive I purchase has a firewire port for downloading the movie clips from my camera (4-prong to match my laptop input would be best so that I don't have to purchase another wire). Any suggestions?? Thanks! JF -------------------- For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

Just a quick story that may or may not be relevant.
About 6 months ago I bought a W-D MyBook (500 gB) USB drive to house my backups. Within the last week it started generating errors. A few posts over a few days to W-D and they've issued me an RMA and are shipping the replacement to me! That's the best service I've seen in a long while! -------------------- - John
