QUOTE The evidence comes in a report released today by software testing firm SmartWare. The company tested each browser against the same phishing sites flagged by contributors to Phishtank, an anti-phishing network run by OpenDNS.
Firefox blocked 243 phishing sites that IE7 overlooked, while IE7 blocked 117 sites that Firefox did not. http://blog.washingtonpost.com/securityfix...umps_ie7_i.html -------------------- "Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts." Hmm...doesnt firefox utilize the google phishing database? If so, then that also means that google's phishing list is better than MS.
MS better start catching up. -------------------- Lawrence

You can't accurately say IE is worse than Firefox without seeing all the reports of the phishing, because maybe IE let some .. minor .. phishing sites by that Firefox did not. It'd be cool to see Firefox and IE merge as.. Firefox. Mwahha. |
