A woman from Yahoo personals sent me an 'Add to Messenger List Request' but before I could respond, she cancelled her account as well as her 'handle'. Her annoying request pops up every time I open Yahoo Messenger, but ONLY on my computer with Windows XP and not on my computer with Windows Millenium. Therefore I KNOW that the problem is coming from my side! I am certain that this window IS NOT coming from the Yahoo website, but rather from some file downloaded onto my harddrive. Believe me... the simple solutions have all been tried! Yes... I have selected the proper 'ignore' buttons that come with this annoying window, but since the woman's handle no longer exists with Yahoo, my ignore answers are lost in cyber space. Can someone tell me how and where Yahoo Messenger stores these 'Add to Requests' on my computer so that I can delete this irritating pop-up window? Thanks -RGS-
