It's a joke, MGBY.

I like the last line on the front of the box, "May Contain Spyware".
The video at the link was pretty good, too.

Why did you stop the joke after only 14 minutes, tg1911?I would have liked to see MGBY's reaction the longer it went on.At least till he threatened to start kicking his poor dog "BOAGGIE". LOL.
Good one, TMack. :flowers:

Looking at the bottom also, you can see that they X'ed out the Mac and the Linux logos.

That was frightening at the 1st thought of it. I was saying to myself, "Glad I still have an older full version of Firefox, and I'll just use that until the end of time".

Good one though.... I was saying "WWWHHHAAAATTTTTTT?"

System Requirements

Below are the minimum requirements your computer needs to run Microsoft Firefox. Some components may require additional system resources not outlined below.

Microsoft Firefox 2007 will run on most Operating Systems (by Microsoft).

Computer/Processor Quadcore CPU 4.6GHz processor or higher (For the loading of Hotmail.com)
Operating Systems Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)
Pretty funny .. also contains A-KOBE plash player, click on it

Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
All Major Linux Distributions (As if...)
Memory To compensate for frequent memory leaks:
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) - 873 MB
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition - 1680 MB
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) - 870 MB
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 ia64 - 2180 MB

Drive Microsoft HD-DVD-ROM drive (Required to maintain dangerous CPU temperatures)
Display/Graphics 1080i or higher-resolution screen with any 512mb SLI Graphics card. (For High Definition GIF images)
Peripherals Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft IntelliMouse, or any compatible Microsoft device. (Otherwise all hyperlinks will be disabled)
Software
Microsot Powerpoint 2007 (For exceptional Spyware Protection)
Credit Card Microsoft accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Delta and Discover.

BUT THEY DID aquire Wininternals/Sysinternals

Quote

REDMOND, Wash. — July 18, 2006 — Microsoft Corp. today announced the acquisition of Winternals Software LP, a privately held company based in Austin, Texas, that provides Windows®-based enterprises with systems recovery and data protection solutions in addition to offering a freeware tools Web site called Sysinternals. The addition of Winternals is a significant advance in Microsoft’s promise to lower customers’ total cost of ownership of the Microsoft® Windows platform. Customers will be able to continue building on Sysinternals’ advanced utilities, technical information and source code for utilities related to Windows. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
