Fozzy, those look more like minimum requirements for the game and thus, aren't the best options for it.

If you don't want to build a computer and the specs only have to be more than that. Go with a Pentium D Dell with atleast 512 mb of ram (i'd be the last person to tell somebody to get a Dell, but that's probably that best thing to do.)

That is correct but lookin at the requirements as far as processor and RAM is concerned and checking the FSX forum 1024MB video and 2 Gb ram would be necessary...

1024 video? Only a 7950 GX2 has that, and that costs $400+. And the only reason it even has that much is because it's dual GPU.

No, there's this card which has 1GB of video memory. But it will cost you a kidney. And it'd be pretty bad for gaming.
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

You wouldn't need 1024mb anyway..
Plus, there are a few cards like that. But they're all video-making and crap.

Isn't FSX designed for DirectX10 which isn't out yet? I know it can play on a DX9 machine though.
