Someone Please Help Me! Error: cannot create directshow player

I'm running Windows Me, and all of a sudden I can't view video from the web, I get a mesage saying; Cannot create directshow player!! Can anyone help me, it will be greatly appreciated!!

Hi biggoon.
What browser are you using?
Have you made any changes or upgrades to WMP and\or DirectX?
If you haven't, most people seem to have had success removing and reinstalling WMP, if that is what you're using to view streaming media.
