Wondering what your thoughts are on this matter.
I, for one am sick to death of these Criminals, who
cost me so much hard earned money, and make my
life an utter misery.Free software has it's limitations,
and as these creeps get smarter,I find it is costing me
more and more for peace of mind. The internet shoud
be a fun experience, instead of the nightmare its turned
out to be for me,anyway. The amount of time wasted
looking for better programmes, and doing scans all the time
is sure taking the fun out. As far as what I would do to
them, the best would be to put them in the one of the armed
forces, and send them to war.

Hmmmm If I had my way?

How about this:

Set up a room for the criminal that has say...500 infested computers ranging from Win95 to Vista
The room is locked and they cannot leave till ALL computers are cleaned properly.
They have NO internet for resorses like Google or any special tools.
They sleep there, eat there, shower there and whatever else we do at home there.
No phone either & no visitors cept us checkin in on them.
1 gackware writer to each room. (so they cant talk to each other)

They do not even have resorces like boot cds or floppies to work in DOS or recovery console.

Each computer has a different infection. Some have several. Some have file infecting viruses.

Each infection must be manually hacked out by hand and the registry cleaned up properly to undo all the damage done.

System restore has been turned off on all computers that have it. Any recovery partitions have been eliminated.

Should we give em a time limit too?

Oh yeah....there is nothing stopping us from sneaking in during the night to re-install a few infections....
muahawhaw

^^ NOT cool but hey; neither are the gackware writers.
I'll have an order of massive trojan attack please with a side order of rootkit and virus dip.
Pre-course order of fresh spyware salad please with a side order of polymorphic dressing.
And to drink...a nice tall glass of adware!

For dessert; can I have a bowl of the freshest worms you have please?.

Never Give Up!

I wouldn't send them to war without a weapon. Give them a water pistol
to shoot at the enemy with.If I was the General, the first task I would
force them to do would be to dig up all the unexploded landmines, after
I had thrown their detectors in the river.
After all, they are always springing surprises on us.

DSTM.
PS Now it is your chance to get even with them.
Any more ideas of how to seek revenge? :flowers:
