Suddenly, webpages with features using Adobe Flash player state this player is not present as a plug-in on my PC, either not installed or out-of-date, e.g.website BBC History-Timeline feature, when I have always had this player installed?
After checking settings including security in Internet Zones etc.- without success, decided to remove any corrupted files? by removal of all registry "Flash"entries, then reinstallation- version 9.Result- same notices on websites!

Can anyone help please?

tg1911 referred me to Adobe Flash Un-Installer which cleared the path for me to install version 9. This plug-in is now recognised on my PC.I am pleased with result & have sent message of appreciation to tg1191.I have advised others having same problem & they are now aware of the help available on Bleeping Computer,
