I am looking for a simple user friendly and most importantly " FREE " video encoder. At least avi to dvd !!
not the demo ones that splatter garbage all over the movie if you dont spend 40$ on the pro versions.. Theres gotta be a " FREE " one somewhere thats good thats really free. I have have looked in alot of different places evan freeware sites and have downloaded many different programs that claim to be free and good but everysingle one has a watermark across the film or are only very limited in time and by that i mean a maximum of 30 minutes of decodeing

any suggestions ? thank you

Hi Ray.
What software are you using for burning?
Reason I ask is many burning apps (Nero, Roxio, etc) will already do that without third party help.
Here is a freebie converter without limits and\or watermarks if you really need it.

HitSqad,

Thanks for the link. That software has potential. I'll give it a run real soon. I've added it to my aresenal. It has features I haven't seen in many of the paid software versions I already have. It has much for a person to do to make dvd's come out just right.

Thanks
