i have windows defender set to startup when i boot. In the older version, it just went directly to tray, now I get the actual window plastered in the middle of my desktop on startup. I have not yet found the option to load to tray only. is there one?

thx.

Open Defender and go to Tools > Options, scroll down and make sure "Always" is checked under Choose when the Windows Defender icon appears in the notification area:. Click "save".
