Could it be true that, after Kaspersky which came in first, AOL Active Virus Shield which came in with exactly the same rating of 99.62% is now the second best AV, at least at "the overall ability to find a virus"?

Apparently it is, according to a recent review - 'And The Best Anti-Virus is ...' - at Cybernet Technology News:

http://tech.cybernetnews.com/2006/09/04/an...t-antivirus-is/

Like many, I'm extremely wary of AOL, but since this new AOL AV is a Kaspersky product I guess it could be true.

But could there be a hidden catch ...?

Whatever the case this review seems worth looking at by those of us involved in fighting the good fight against the baddies.

Best to all,

scratcher.
