hi, i have a windows ME computer with 256MB ram....and a Creative Labs CD3630E cd drive (D drive)

a few days ago i plugged in my USB storage device on the computer...and the device took the D drive.

I remove it...and theres no d drive for my cd rom now (so just A + C drive)

and if i put a disc in my cd drive nothing shows up either

how can i get it back? im sure the cables in the comp are OK...because it worked fine before.

Thanks,

Look in the device manager and see if the cd drive is there and if there are any yellow or red warning icons anywhere.

If the cd device is there, delete it, reboot, and let Windows find and reinstall it.
