It is not uncommon to find a file on your computer that you suspect may be malware. An easy way to check is to submit it to an online file scanning service. The problem is that not all services are created equal.

That is where the File Submitter comes into play. Using this tool you can submit the file to 6 different online scanning services all at the same time with the click of a button. This allows you to determine, from a variety of sources, whether or not the file is in fact malware or not.

If, after using the scanning services, you still feel that the file is malware even though the scanners say it is not, then this tool also enables you to submit the files directly to BleepingComputer.com or UploadMalware.com to be analyzed and submitted to the antivirus vendors.

I hope you find this tool a valuable addition to the security of your computer. To download it, you can visit the link below.

Thanks Grinler,

This will be useful. We should have this in the Am I Infected? What Do I Do? forum. So if users have a suspicious file, they can send it in.

Regards,
David.

Never let a dark past cloud a bright future

“It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope.” Robert Francis Kennedy
