I thought I'd share this with you folks as it's rather amusing.
Last night I had opened TaskManager so it showed the networking tab. I set it to full screen size so I could check to see if my computer was still downloading from the Panda Online scanning site while I was at the dining room table. Yes, the computer is in the dining room.
My father looked at the screen and first he thought I was having the computer monitor my heart rate, and he wanted to know how I had rigged it up to do that. He said those flat places at the bottom looked scary and wondered what on earth was wrong. When I told him it wasn't monitoring my heart, he said he thought it was a picture of the reed on the beater of my loom!
Telling him that it was showing the rate of internet traffic did not compute in his mind. Sigh.
